Before you join

A few things worth knowing.

Can I create an account on this website?

Registration starts with the official WHATSL HUD in Second Life. After joining, you can set an optional chat password in Settings and sign in here, or keep using your HUD.

Is my chat password my Second Life password?

No. Your WHATSL password is separate. Never enter your Second Life password here. To reset your chat password, choose Recover on your official HUD.

Who can see my conversations?

You can read channel messages from your current visit; new arrivals cannot read earlier conversation. The service owner can review channel logs. Direct conversations are available to their participants. Messages are stored to operate WHATSL; chats are not end-to-end encrypted.

Check the address before continuing. Do not enter passwords or personal information unless you trust the destination.
